As the famous saying goes, “Do you eat to live, or live to eat?” Well I live to eat! I love food. I worked for 15 years in the computer field and became quite the amatuer cook. Then I decided to open up a restaurant with my wife. Did somebody kick me in the head.? Don’t get me wrong. We had a great time, but the restaurant business is hard. You’ve got to have tough skin. I was the Chef and my wife did everything else! And after 16 years in the restaurant business (we sold in 2008), I am happy to share my recipes and my love for cooking with everyone! I will also be producing and editing a series of cooking videos, for people in the biz and for foodies. I have been videotaping a long time. I produced thirty-five 30-minute television shows about my home town of Richton Park for the local cable channel. I’ve also produced training videos for my restaurant staff. Videos are a great instructional tool. They always say the same thing,  they focus on the important points and always show the “right” way to do things. Well, at least my way of doing things that is!  My wife and I also consult with restaurants, work in restaurants and I also do websites (getting back to my computer roots). So enjoy the blog, please leave comments, ask questions and uhhhh.., oh yeah, buy a few things!
